Your main responsibilities as a Building Mechanical Engineer
:
Perform design calculations and ensure that plans comply with guidelines, code requirements, and other regulations for various building mechanical projects (institutional, commercial, or industrial)
Establish and maintain contact with clients to define needs, present technical information, concepts, or study results (if applicable)
Design and oversee the execution of multidisciplinary projects of small to large scale
Verify and/or prepare tender plans in collaboration with team members
Participate in project kick-off meetings with clients and other professionals involved
Ensure the quality of work on site (site visits) and participate in site meetings
Resolve technical problems by applying specific standards and guidelines

As an engineer, you will have the opportunity, at your own pace and if you wish, to build relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate:
2 years or more of experience in building mechanical design
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Knowledge of building standards and codes
Rigorous, professional, and collaborative spirit
Written and spoken French
